New York City

New York, the city that never sleeps, it is called the city that never sleeps. The reason why it is called that is because everyone is always having a party and always awake, when you go out late at night there is always something to do in New York….trust me when I was little, I went out way late at night and there was a party on every block. It’s pretty interesting. It’s also called the home of the World Trade Center, or home of the twins, it’s called that because New York is the only place, or state with the BIGGEST buildings ever. Since the twin towers fell it has lost its name. People of New York are very depressing. I was very upset when I heard that. New York also got the named big apple because of some jazz group that opened a club and named it that. It was the biggest and popular club ever!

The history of New York and how it got its name was Dutch owned it cause of an act then the English took control of it, and renamed it New York. Its first name was New Amsterdam. Three wars between the Dutch and the English.

What Can U Do

New York is a very awesome place to have a vacation at. New York will never get bored and is always full of adventure, there’s a little place called the Bronx where I used to live at, there’s is a lot of stores u can go to shop. Then there’s the beach called long island….I think well long island is where I went to eat some yummy shrimp and fish, there’s also two café there one where u can eat while looking at the ocean and the other is to eat inside but is decorated to be a pirate ship. If u go into Manhattan that’s where its really fun, that’s where all the big buildings are at so many arcades movies Broadway, stores and my favorite as a child the BIGGEST toys r us ever. In toys r us there’s a Ferris wheel right in the middle, its 3 stories high and has a life size t rex in it. So amazing. Everything in New York is fun and cool, but the people are bad tough and rough so be careful. At night the buildings light up like los Vegas-but better- and there’s an ice skating rink there, and when its Christmas there’s the world’s largest tree ever!!
